We leave The Pool and decide to anchor for one more night before heading back to Little Current. Total miles cruised is 28.
We pull the anchor and confirm just how abundant the aquatic plant life is in these waters!
Pretty sure there is an anchor under this ball of grass.
It takes some time, muscles, and the handy boat hook to clear the anchor. With the clean anchor put away, away we go. Again, the scenery is just gorgeous!
We cruise back through Baie Fine.
Baie Fine
We head toward Heywood Islands and find a nice cove to anchor for the night.
Gone are the steep cliffs, but the beauty of the water and its surroundings stay.
We share our anchorage with one other sailboat. Unfortunately, rain rolls in and takes away any hope of a pretty sunset this evening
After a quiet and peaceful night on the hook, we cruise back to Little Current. The weather is overcast and gloomy, but just fine for errands, chores and a visitor?!
Not again? Our Canadian paperwork is all in order, so our visitor’s visit is brief.
Our highlight on this return visit to Little Current was playing trivia on Thursday night at the Anchor Inn. We joined some nice YOUNG Canadians and formed the Prime 11 team! Our contribution… answers to the oldie, but goodie, questions!
We didn’t win, but we had lots of laughs trying!
Next stop: Benjamin Islands for another night on the hook.
