Captain Tom did not have our spot tracker on, so the actual route was not recorded for this leg of our journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"1080\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 1920 \/ 1080;\" width=\"1920\" controls src=\"https:\/\/cincinnatiprime11.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/IMG_9571_Trim.mp4\"><\/video><figcaption><strong><em>The Atlantic was pretty smooth, not flat, but tolerable for sure.<\/em><\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>As we near the Atlantic City coastline, we see the Coast Guard practicing rescues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"1080\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 1920 \/ 1080;\" width=\"1920\" controls src=\"https:\/\/cincinnatiprime11.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/IMG_9577-1_Trim.mp4\"><\/video><figcaption><strong><em>Nice to see them in action when it in NOT<\/em> a<em> real life rescue<\/em>.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We arrive to Atlantic City and head to the marina at the Golden Nugget.  The marina itself is called the Senator Frank D. Farley State Marina and is a public facility of the New Jersey Division of Parks and Forestry, but, is managed by the Golden Nugget. I am not sure I understand exactly who does what as far as marina upkeep, but we have heard before arriving, that the docks are in disarray and the dock hands are not the best. Since the Golden Nugget is not on the boardwalk, we take the jitney.  We have been warned not to walk around Atlantic City, so we heed the advice. We board the jitney right outside of the Golden Nugget, very convenient. We feel certain after each shift change they need to install new brakes, new shock absorbers and new horns.  Given the personality of the drivers, I believe they  strive to provide the roughest ride they can along with the most near crashes possible.  I suppose that is the only pleasure they eek out of a job they clearly hate. By the time the last stop for Tropicana came, the driver told us to get out!  So, we ended up on a more desolate part of the boardwalk.
