A phone is provided at the marina for this purpose. Captain Tom checked us in but, unfortunately, after honestly answering all questions,  including yes to the possession of pepper spray (the kind put on key chains for protection), we were ordered to immediately return to boat and not leave. With the pepper spray safely secured in a baggie, and the mission heroically accomplished,  they left for their 1 1\/2 hour journey back.  They both were very nice and gave us some travel tips for the North Channel.  We also found out that if we had just said it was bear spray, which also is pepper spray, we would have been fine!\ud83d\udc3b<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Our last experience with Blind River was watching the sun go down.
